I am looking into buying a new Mobil radio and I was looking at a Galaxy or a RCI, 2950 or 2970.

Which radio is a better choice for reliability and sound quality?

If you don't have room for an amp, get the 2970. If you got room for an amp and want to run more than 150 watts, get the 2950.

I dont know if it will sound like a kenwood maybe with the right mic. but the 2970 has a built in amp.



And you had no problems getting over everyone out here
