New Set-Up in Progress

From reading various threads on here and other forums …

My new in progress mobile set up is going to be:
Grant XL Philly made CB
Messenger M4V amp
Siro PL5000 antenna
West Mountain Clear Speech Speaker

I wanted to keep my amp separate of the radio plus I wanted a radio with good RX. So the Grant with the M4V should give me the best of both worlds. There is a good thread on the West Mountain speaker - so based on that info I purchased the speaker to help filter some of the white noise. The Siro Antenna I have been using and I get great SWR with it plus it seems to do the job well. Hope to get this installed within the next week or two.

As to the DSP Speaker: I enjoy telling others their radio is better than they think

Like using thermal night vision. No matter how good your ears, or how well night-adapted you are, there are beings getting past you.
