New soldering station time - what's your favorite

Mine are low budget, they do just fine for a OK guy like me, nothing exciting.
I use the 100 watt for the 259 connectors.

Another tool I bought recently. Pictured above is a butane soldering pen from Walmart; about $17 plus shipping. This is one handy tool. Does the heavy soldering iron jobs as it gets up to 2300 degree Fahrenheit.

The tip is for soldering; but takes a few minutes to reach a tip temperature that will finally melt solder for a circuit board.
Or take off the tip and you can use it to put the shrink on shrink tubing quickly.
Or solder on heavy metal chassis grounds without burning your circuitry.

I bought the one from Harbor Freight for $23, so I didn't have to pay for shipping or wait for delivery. Requires a can of butane to charge it up that is available from Walmart for about $3. At the slow rate of butane consumption, that large can will take awhile to get depleted. No power extension cords. Just flick it on, wait a few, and go at it. So hot - it's Cool!
