Hey all, FNG here just getting back into the radio scene after a 30+ year hiatus. I am military and of course looking to prep for when the SHTF. I have scene some cool setups and now looking into getting a solar panel setup for a manpack style kit. I hope to glean some knowledge from you all and hope I never have to use it, but better prep'd than sorry. Thanks in advance.

    Hello gentlemen and Ladies. I have the dreaded RCI-2990 receive issue where my radio gets distorted when people get close to my location. I found the C90 Capacitor, but I can not for the life of me find the C89 capacitor. Can or does anyone have a picture of the exact location of C89 ? Thank you in advance, Wes
