Recently picked up a RoadPro Titan II RPSY 485, which is a Magnum 257 clone with a single final only, a refurbed Galaxy 66, and a HR2510, all for next to nothing. At the moment the only one that's working is the 66, both the Titan II and the 2510 have issues, the displays light up but nothing else, no numeric display, no meter reading, just lights.
I'm working on repairing them, which leads to the main reason for this post.
I'm mainly an AM only talker, don't really get into SSB, so the 485, since it is a clone of the 257, if I had the schematic of a 257HP in front of me should be fairly easy to modify with a RFX75?
I know I'll leave the 66 alone except for a white meter LED and maybe a couple of other cosmetic things, but the 2510, I'm interested in doing a little more to it also. Forgive my ramblings, and don't hesitate to run any ideas by me.
