I acquired an antenna from a house I have doing some work on, I am wanting to identify it so I know what I have and the best way to utilize it.

It's a aluminum five piece tubular set up, its got a white tubular plastic or fiberglass round something or other attached at the bottom, with four what appear to be from research, ground plane pieces.

If helpful I could set the antenna up and take a photo unless someone could identify this based off my description.

i am wanting to use it for a base station set up I am wanting to get into.

could you please advise to the best way of identifying what i have. thanks

Well it definitely sounds like a vertical groundplane of some sort but what frequency remains to be seen. Either some photos or at least some dimensions would help.
