I had went through all my finals/drivers the other day with my tester (TC1) three times each. All these transistors showed as good transistors with good HFe.

The NOS Mitsubishi 1969's I had checked and showed as 40 to 75, now show as 0 to 2 HFe.

The NOS 2312's showed over 50, now show 0 to 2.

The 2166 and 2078 transistors were over 30 each, are now showing as 0 to 5 HFe.

And the tester is fully charged.

WTH???

its usually an electrolytic cap concern. I don't think that little cap could have done any damage. I don't know how to fix that kind of damage either, I just know it is common. My tester has a discharge slot.

Take a look at the microcontroller on the rear of the PCB. Is it a genuine Atmel? Or some other thing that has the part number sanded off or remarked? There are many fakes now that use the APT32F172K8T6, which will not run the code for the Atmel. The code that runs is forked garbage and these devices do not work as they should.

Hello gentlemen and Ladies. I have the dreaded RCI-2990 receive issue where my radio gets distorted when people get close to my location. I found the C90 Capacitor, but I can not for the life of me find the C89 capacitor. Can or does anyone have a picture of the exact location of C89 ? Thank you in advance, Wes
