This is the 40th year that Dennis has been hosting the Old Tube Radio Network.
It's the longest running CB radio net that I am aware of, meeting every Saturday night at 8pm Pacific on channel 11.

What is the general location this net control is at?

Dennis, net control is in Fresno California most of the "local" stations are in the central San Joaquin valley but people check in via interwebs as well.
The net has been going on for several decades, every Saturday night at 8 Pacific channel 11 AM.
