I have a tx 5500, can anyone tell any info on it? I had it since my old CB days and now I am a ham and i would like to know if it can be used on ham bands, and what its out put my be. Thanks.
 

hi i flicked through some old cb mags from the early 1990s and some adds for the tx-550 i looked at stated 3 to 30 meg and 350 watts pep cheers damo:wink:

    Hello gentlemen and Ladies. I have the dreaded RCI-2990 receive issue where my radio gets distorted when people get close to my location. I found the C90 Capacitor, but I can not for the life of me find the C89 capacitor. Can or does anyone have a picture of the exact location of C89 ? Thank you in advance, Wes
