palomar skipper problems

I have a palomar skipper base amplifier and the MRF 454's went out. So I did some looking around and found I could use the sd1446 as a replacement instead of spending $80 for the 454's. However unless I was tx into a dummy load the amp would oscillate and not unkey unless on low power. Now The 1446's have blown!!! and the output transformer gets really hot. Please help!!!

    Hello gentlemen and Ladies. I have the dreaded RCI-2990 receive issue where my radio gets distorted when people get close to my location. I found the C90 Capacitor, but I can not for the life of me find the C89 capacitor. Can or does anyone have a picture of the exact location of C89 ? Thank you in advance, Wes
