Can anybody tell me what size wire to use to make some parasitic suppressors for a D&A Phantom? Does it have to be tinned or will copper work. Also, using the resistors available today, when do you put the resistor inside the coil and when should you put it outside. I remember reading something about putting it outside if there is ceramic in the resistor but can't remember for sure what it was.

Is it possible to be on a lake and have a homing directional beam being emitted from the shore so a person could navigate to that beam's source? For example at night to a jetty.
