Has anyone ever used a Patriot Base Antenna model PAT-12 antenna?Its 12' long and can handle 2000 watts p.e.p.Thanks

These are what I call TVI Sticks. I would not recommend over 1kw pep into them.

Those antennas are something! I have one and it is supost to be pretuned. It had the worse SWR of any antenna Ive had! Had to spend a lot of time moving the ring to get it to work. The swr would not go any lower than 1:7
 
Alot of the locals round here were buying those up cause they were so cheap,bout 10-12 yrs ago,but they soon found out why they were so cheap! The stupid things were breaking
off at the joints w/very little wind and/or icing!Man were those
guys pissed! I'm not aware of ANY of them left now!!!
Amen to the TVI also.That was another big complaint.Even
without power!
