And then this thing... I got the idea from KG0ZZ's website, but the built in RF Choke was something I came up with... I changed things a bit, a little extra spacing on the elements for a little more gain than his original design

Nice job. I've been thinking about building something similar since I got my ticket recently. You could strengthen the antenna in the lower pic up a deal by drilling pilot holes where the two plastic pipes overlap and screwing in a timber screw. What do you plan to use as a rotator if any?

    Hello gentlemen and Ladies. I have the dreaded RCI-2990 receive issue where my radio gets distorted when people get close to my location. I found the C90 Capacitor, but I can not for the life of me find the C89 capacitor. Can or does anyone have a picture of the exact location of C89 ? Thank you in advance, Wes
