Are you sure it has no audio on fm?, have you had someone listen on another radio? It will not show any swing on the meter on fm mode. Also there is a FM Devation adjustment inside the radio that might need adjustment.

Ok, Does it RX fm, if you talk on another radio on FM Mode, can you hear it on that radio?Also do you know what PC Board number the radio uses? I am thinking it is the same as the super star 360-FM, a PB010.

you need to find a schematic for the radio and locate the modeswitch selector and the steering diodes used in the mode selector circuit. just an educated guess but i have seen this happen too many times. if a metallic tool or "screwdriver" is used to adjust the fm deviation and the tool shorts to ground while it is inserted in the vr and being adjusted it will knock out the steering diode for the fm select in the mode selector circuit. if you can locate the circuit and the defective diode and replace it, this will restore normal fm operation.
