I have two radios that I have been looking to repair. The first is a Lincoln II that has poor receive that I tricked into performing fair by substituting some resistor values around the op-amp AGC circuit. I thought it was a poor rf amp transistor and replaced that small surface mount device and it performed the same. So onto the next radio, a Connex General Lee. I have been through a few of them looking at the 4 to five diodes up to the modulation circuit and been stiffed in the past. What and where do you think I should start on this one? I am looking at a different approach and would be interested in bettering my skills.

Hello gentlemen and Ladies. I have the dreaded RCI-2990 receive issue where my radio gets distorted when people get close to my location. I found the C90 Capacitor, but I can not for the life of me find the C89 capacitor. Can or does anyone have a picture of the exact location of C89 ? Thank you in advance, Wes
