Power Supply amp meter swinging backwards

I recently purchased a Fatboy 2 pill w/2879's mobile amp. I'm currently running a Pyle 35 Amp Constant 40 Amp Surge power supply. I noticed when I key up and talk my amperage draw meter swings backwards. Also, my voltage meter falls back a tad bit when I key up too. PLEASE HELP!!!!

That power supply is border line when it comes to running that amp.

check your deadkey out the amp .you might be backswinging .
try to lower your deadkey and try again.

Thats pretty much it, if you push it alittle harder the power supply will start shutting down. What radio are you running with that amp, what mode of talking, and what is the dead key and swing of the radio?

My friend has the same amp from fatboy, it did the same thing and when I went over to help him set it up I found it was too much dead key. back it down and try again.
