predator 400: it's a model number, not the output power.

minimum gain is 13 dB. or 20X the input, 3w into
1XMRF455 = 60 out, 12w into 4XMRF455 = 240 out.
those input & output levels are pep with full modulation.
in am mode carrier should be set for 25% of full output
with the amplifier in the high power setting.
(no input padding)
if i am able to locate the schematic i'll post up either a
file or a link.
