president george - better way to turn it on?

i don't know if this is 40 yrs too late or not...(date above says 1969?)...tho i don't think your george is quite that old...in any event, unless unit is faulty u shouldn't have to use the "security feature", as long as the radio is plugged into a pwr source. all u should have to do is turn it on & it should come on w/memory of where u left off, including your code & freq., intact. you should only have to repunch the code if u turn off the pwr source or unplug the radio.
