I worked VC2VQ with 5/9 signal report. Not to bad for 100watt and a G5RV shorty which is broadside north/south and Quebec is more due east of me.

No I have not but I can tell you that the callsign,VC2VQ, is a special event callsign celebrating the 400'th anniversary of the founding of Quebec City. I heard it on the air the other day and was just listening.

    Hello gentlemen and Ladies. I have the dreaded RCI-2990 receive issue where my radio gets distorted when people get close to my location. I found the C90 Capacitor, but I can not for the life of me find the C89 capacitor. Can or does anyone have a picture of the exact location of C89 ? Thank you in advance, Wes
