I don’t want to spend much time dinking w/ this $150 radio but maybe someone has experienced the issue and the fix can be quick and painless.
•Final shows 13.8v/13.1 at legs on TX
•The transistor circled is super hot to touch all the time, key up or not.Actually, most the caps in the area are hot.
•I can get it to transmit to the handheld right beside it but it registers zero in the wattmeter.
That’s all I got. Just something someone gave me cuz it didn’t work. Figured if it’s an easy fix I’ll give it to someone.
