I have a 441 r/s xcvr am unit
The mic which has the built in volume control knob in it also
It has squealing feedback.
I understand you can put in a 4700 ohm resistor on the audio line to get rid of it?
Inside the mic there are 3 posts on top 3 on the bttom on the push/talk slide switch.
top row has a red wire and 2 nd post a black wire
bottom post has nr 1 post white wire and 2nd post white wire.
Tracing out the bottom post the first white wire goes to the mic piece its self<where you talk into>.
Is this where I put the resistor?..
Please advise
tnx

Hello gentlemen and Ladies. I have the dreaded RCI-2990 receive issue where my radio gets distorted when people get close to my location. I found the C90 Capacitor, but I can not for the life of me find the C89 capacitor. Can or does anyone have a picture of the exact location of C89 ? Thank you in advance, Wes
