well, in the 142GTL, by comparing schematics; it looks like R87 is the one to try.
i have not done this, but it looks to be quite similar to the 148/2000 in this respect.
as for the 1000/87GTL, they are similar to the 29LTD chassis in many respects.
check out this thread, step 9 specifically:

by comparing the schematics of the 87GTL/1000GTL to the 29LTD, you should be able to determine what part you need to look for.
