radio sounding muffeld??

just wondering what might cause this sounding great on my base setup but in the mobile gettin that " sounds kinda muffeld" radio check tried diffrent mikes diffrent mike gain settings running out of ideas??

radio is overdriven, turn down the modulation and power a fuzz

what kind of radio is it ? are you driving a amplifier with it ?

Make sure you haven't accidentally swallowed the microphone. That'll give you muffled audio.

i'm assuming from your brief post that the only thing changing between the base and the mobile is the (antenna) load presented to the transmitter. if so you have undecoupled rf floating around in the mobile. some more information regarding the mobile antenna might be helpful.
