Hey folks. I running a peaked and tuned Magnum S6 with a Predator antenna and no amp. My dead key is set at 1watt. My issue is when I que up and talk,my needle does not swing like it once did. I've visited various site that states that exceesive swing is not good. I just want to be sure that folks here me when I talk and I don't have a problem with my radio. Thx. God bless.

Best bet is to put a watt meter in-line and see whats up. You can also double check the mic, power cord, antenna coax, and the SWR. Another option is have the radio bench tested at a shop. If the radio was properly tuned Magnum radio's will swing 40-45 watts trouble free.
