Ranger AR 3500

I need some input,I stumbled across a new old stock AR 3500 and did the mod to convert it to 11m and all works just fine but one thing the clarifier does nothing.I looked at the schematic and there is 8v present on the white wire going to it..Has no effect on rx or tx..Radio is dead on frequency on ssb and am..Not really a big deal but did i miss a mod that has to be done?Thanks

I see you have the 2.6kc wide filter in it. Nice. I have an AR-3300-100w in my storage, need to break it out and see what's in mine.

Owners manual. It says the calrifier only moves 500Hz, so in stock form it doesn't do much.

I just seen that lol..i feel stupid..but i cant even hear 500hz worth of difference
