Ranger RCI-2970

I have this Ranger RCI-2970 it outs out 100 Watts SSB and 50 Watts AM FM.

Everytime I move it around or turn it off the display become all garbled and locked up.

I'll move the display inside the radio around and it comes back normal.

Can Anyone help me with this problem or has the same problem.
