RANGER TRE-966FFC SSB Settings

Morning All,

I am new to SSB and was wondering where my settings should be for me on regular CB and SSB on my Texas Ranger TRE-966FFC, power, RF gain etc. If it matters, I am running a stainless whip.

play with it, get some on air reports, I would open everything up then back the mic gain to 25% and play with it from there

It looks like a regular cb set, it does not have variable power so nothing to adjust there. Go to channel 38, hit the LSB button, clarifier at 12:00, mic gain at 75% and ler er ripp. There's no rocket science to it.
