Raytheon ray 48A help please

I recently bought a Raytheon ray 48A in good working order but the guy i bought it from lost the powercord. it is a really weaird powercord. i was wondering if you guys would kow ere to buy it from or what its called. i allready went to radio communicationas and radio shack. they didnt have it. the place were a powercord went hade 4 pRONGS. or instead of using a powercord could i just wire it up to a battery because i think it is 12 volt dc
