RCI 2950 DX

I would like to buy a brand new RCI 2950 DX converted and tuned/aligned.



Recommendations on where to purchase from? Is it true Bob's CB is an RCI approved repair shop?

Really? I thought CBR only did real FFC approved CBs. They sell 2950 DXs? I did not know.

2950DX are very nice radios. Especially on sideband. Problem is 9 out of 10 CBshops dunno how to repair them nor tune them properly.

Thats 2 I know that do sales on the net that can tune these properly. Most do not do sales on the net. I am sure CBR could do it too.

I don't know if you can buy one from F.G., but they can tune it properly. Bill Good was the one that basically did the front end design on that radio and told Ranger everything they did wrong with the first version. I don't think they incorporated all his suggestions, but they certainly know the radio.

This is an old thread Justin. I ended up buying from 8541 Electronics in North Carolina, and am very pleased. I called FG Best and they had none in stock. I didn't want to buy and reship.
