RCI 6900 FHP

Someone has a RCI 6900 FHP or F25...I think it's the FHP. I haven't heard it, but he says he's lost his carrier, but will talk like he's on SSB. He also said he's been told it doesn't sound good. He said the RF power adjustment doesn't change a thing. He did say he seems to recall it happened after he plugged in a speaker to the CW jack by mistake.

Any ideas?

On the CW jack, that was only he remembered that he did it, but it probably kept working after.
