recieve in galaxy pluto

the recieve in my galaxy pluto has a lot of static or also sounds like waterfalls then when i plug up my vr-9000 the RX is alot better what can i do to my pluto to get a better RX in it. Are the revieve dioeds 10-11-23-24 on the board can't seem to find my notes on this
