Somebody asked, "Where's the band switch"?
It was a trade off for simplicity and higher power; if I were going to build a multiband amplifier, I would have to design around the band switch and tank circuit. The "Q" of the tank circuit as well as multi-pole rotary switches that would handle the QRO made the idea of a multi-band jobbie out of the question.
If it was multiband, then I would have to change the antennas.
It could be dual band, maybe 10 and 20 or 20 and 40 meters, beyond that, I save it for the next one.
