RFX95HD +8v xmit only source

Got a few friends who recently purchased 3 of the Palomar RFX95HD add-on amps.

One is planning on using his 2 on his cobra 29s. The other is gonna use his on his 148 gtl.

I've looked over the instructions because they want me to install them, but I'm curious as to the wiring.

The +8 volt xmit (blue wire) only line. Where would it be in the above radios?
Is the +8 volt xmit only (blue) wire needed on a 29?

JP32 works too, it comes off of the secondary trace that JP29 feeds. I used to replace JP32 with my adjustable low carrier audio fed high swing mod.
