For Rit control to work in Rit and Xit, disconnect the white/yellow wire between the main audio board and synthesizer board at S-101-2. Afterwards, the Rit and Xit will function in both Rx and Tx when the rit button is activated.
This will get between that 100hz jump that is common with this radio, and you can always use the other vfo (using split for a rit).
Do this mod at your own risk.
