Have heard contradicting reports about using these mikes on a Delta Force.

Anyone have any experience with this, good or bad.

The stock mike isn't too bad, but I do have these others I'm going to try out.

And is the radio tone adjustable or just on or off.

Thanks

I'm running a 575-M6 on my Delta Force in a big truck( per RollingRadios) and it is working great! Just keep the volume down on the mike and adjust tone to your preference!

PS- I was a die hard 636L man, but I have been converted!

New RK-56's are alright if you don't mind changing the key switch every so often!

Overamp,

I have the D-104M6B and like Jeffs....It blows smoke The thing I found to do was to cut the mic volume up all the way on the radio then cut the mic itself up in the truck or what ever your driving down the road....then key the mic and cut the mic down till you get all the noise out and walla....Kick A$$ modulating plus you save on the mic battery...I have never tried the 575 but been thinking about ordering one from MR. 1 stop to try out......Never can have to much stuff..

The tone control on the Delta only changes the tone of the incoming receive sound, not transmit.

The rk56 would be better suited for the Delta if you chose to use a noise cancelling mike, but as the others said I'd prefer a D104 or a 575.
