I bought a RM Italy KL-203P amplifier off of Amazon last week for my car.
Problem is that I'm using a roof top antenna behind a large sunroof and the
180 watts SSB PEP power is coming through the glass sunroof and causing
havoc with my radio's power mic.
In the house the problem goes away so I know it's just the proximity of the
antenna plus the lack of metal between the antenna and the mic that is
causing the problem. This is a 4 pill Mosfet amp.
I have the amp hooked up to my base and it works but I just don't need all
that power in the house. I do need a little extra cash for Christmas so I'll
offer it here for sale. $44 plus $6 for USPS priority mail shipping. Paypal.
