Does anyone have any info on this radio? I really need a schematic, or Sam's number 89. I need to replace these. See pic.
I can't get a decent solder on what's left of the lead. Need to know the value? My guess is they're used for filters. One on positive wire one on negative wire. Before PC board.

First, those look repairable, but if you want new, try the following link. They’re typical RF chokes for the DC power line.

I'm going to try to add just a little onto the short leg. Thanks for that info though. I just barely know enough to get into trouble here.

Wrap a small piece of wire all the way around the short leg and be generous with the flux. With a wire wrapped around the leg tightly, capillary action will help draw in the solder.

Hello gentlemen and Ladies. I have the dreaded RCI-2990 receive issue where my radio gets distorted when people get close to my location. I found the C90 Capacitor, but I can not for the life of me find the C89 capacitor. Can or does anyone have a picture of the exact location of C89 ? Thank you in advance, Wes
