hi I'm new to the cb world. I was traded this cb basestation and would like to know more about it.what kind of antenna it needs and such. it even has the box and store flyer, possibly the user manual.

I currently have one of these same Royce 1-640 radios that I just repaired for a gentleman. I have the service manual for this radio, but not the owner/operater manual.
I installed a master receive/transmit crystal so he could use the radio on the upper channels on SSB mode.
A standard 11 meter (CB band) antenna will perform just fine with this radio.
But, it is still just a 23 channel radio .......
