What's your issue? Mine is less than a month old and has a little raspy SSB audio. Sounds great on AM.

Just curious if you have same problem.

Most likely it needs properly aligned. Most of the Omega's don't perform too bad once aligned.

Works fine on ssd but when i turn the selector knob to stx i lose the recieve works fine in the stx-rb.weird as hell got it from bells cb and paid for the alignment so i assume that it is. So i guess it is a warranty issue!!:sad:

If you can't get him I would either check with Bell's, or contact the Radio Shop in Ontario,CA. They do the Magnum warranty repairs. What a drag man, I thought they had that stuff all worked out.

I noticed the controls are kinda cheap feeling. The knob that changes between the different transmit options seems tight, kinda like it wants to bind up. Sometimes, it feels like it might snap off.

Mr. Lewis called me back and said send it to mountain view electronics for service. That is what i call customer service!!!!!

you would think better quality control I guess.
