I am WAY earlier in this thread...... mostly just unable to dedicate the time. Still have about 10 caps to change but it seems like when I get these last 10 in... the prior caps will need to be changed again!!!!!!

but I have seen Mike's videos on this radio (Console V) and he speaks of those "pass throughs" on all of them.

I have noticed that the SAMS on this radio (sort of.... they got around to doing the Sidebander V which is the same board... just didn't do the Console V!).... has PC board images....and they seemed to do a little "x-ray vision" thing that CLEARLY shows where all of the "pass throughs" are located. I plan on giving those a good "looking at" too while I am in there.

Flattop, do you have one of these now???
