Just bought an old sears roadtalker 40 ssb mobile(old analog dial). The problem is with the audio. When I key the mic there is a short delay before it starts modulating. The same is true for the receive audio,When I un key it takes a second for the receive audio to come in.I tried the PA and the audio is instant.I'ts not really a big deal but kinda bugs me that sometimes my first words get cut off somewhat.Any ideas where to look? I'm thinking maybe something in the audio section.Bad cap or?

Hello gentlemen and Ladies. I have the dreaded RCI-2990 receive issue where my radio gets distorted when people get close to my location. I found the C90 Capacitor, but I can not for the life of me find the C89 capacitor. Can or does anyone have a picture of the exact location of C89 ? Thank you in advance, Wes
