The company I purchased the switch from are taking it back. I'm in need of a switch that's made properly. It's gonna be used with tube type 11 meter transciver and no name Palomar 500 elite 35 amp power supply amp. Although mine has no name printed on it antenna is inverted V dipole and soon will add vertical. It would be nice if the knobs on the switch were easy to turn. That's not a prerequisite as I've become accustom to modifying things. By modifying I mean maybe adding a lever to the knobs. Nothing touched internally. Price isn't that important as long as the quality is there. I may eventually use something with close to 1000 watts. It should be able to handle atleast 1000. I've been looking on eBay and doin some internet research. I would just like your suggestions. As I mentioned the company I bought it from is taking it back. No questions asked. I've disconnected it and all, is working fine. Until I purchase one I will be sticking with one sonar instead of switching between transcivers.

Don't be skeered of the MFJ ones. I have one and it works great. I remember you saying you had bought some classic rigs, and were looking to add some newer stuff. For multiple rigs and antennas, I use the MFJ 1700C. Ugly as hell and cumbersome on the desk: MFJ 1700C Antenna Switches - Free Shipping on Orders Over $99 at DX Engineering

Wish I'd have bought this one: MFJ 4726 Desktop/Remote 6-Position Antenna/Transceiver Switches - Free Shipping on Orders Over $99 at DX Engineering

If you get a bad one, they'll replace it... no questions asked.

That being said, the Alpha Delta's are pretty much Cadillac. :)
