Setup Work In Progress

Here is the temp antenna setup I am only going to use a few more days it is not tuned. I went to another cb shop today to get another 10k antenna I could only get 1 singal coil & 1 17" shaft I will have to go back this weekend to get another 17" shaft. Now I a using 1 singal coil 1 dual coil wanting to get the other shaft then setup should be complete for now untill I get a bigger amp.

Are you running 2 hot antennas or is the rear dual coil just there for a reflector (bounce back)?
I can't see any coax going to the rear antenna so it doesn't look like a 2 hot setup. If it is a 2 hot setup, are you running them in phase or out of phase?
It sure is an extreme looking setup.... it would be even more hardcore and extreme if you were running them 2 hot and out of phase.

kind of close together to be running both hot, no? I thought there should be a 1/4 wave length between hot antennas?

Yes they should be about 9ft apart they are about 6ft apart now
