Between PA load shaft, PA tune shaft, is a large metal box with holes on top.
The ones marked 28.5 & CB are tunable/
To extend the range even more add to or remove C1605 for 28.5 or C1601 for CB.
Try using a SPST switch on CB cap C1601 to extend up to 28 mhz & below 27 mhz.
