I had one & I Hated it so much that I Traded it for n ICOM 2 meter mobile that did not even have a tone board & I gave the 2 meter mobile away.The 1011D drifted so badly I refused to use it.

I have a corral of them. Once warmed up, the usual set I use is not too bad on the drifting. I actually enjoy using it.

I had one and it was a good ssb radio. Yes it's not much on AM though. You can do a lot worse than that.

I used mine with an Astatic 10-DA mic. I miss that radio.
