silver eagle amp

That depends.

Typically, they have no bias, so no. They DO NOT faithfully reproduce an SSB signal. They make it louder, but also make the recieving station actually have to LISTEN to what you are saying, because they introduce distortion.

YES, they are great!!!! They show 200 watts out of 125 - 160 watts of transistor. They get something for nothing. They get more watts (across the spectrum from 26-54 mhz) than anything else going, except the battle boxes (which the ONLY reason these amps are cleaner is becuase the typical user won't be driving them with a single 455 doing 80 watts!!!!!).

Hope that cleans the spectrum up, no pun intended.

Hello gentlemen and Ladies. I have the dreaded RCI-2990 receive issue where my radio gets distorted when people get close to my location. I found the C90 Capacitor, but I can not for the life of me find the C89 capacitor. Can or does anyone have a picture of the exact location of C89 ? Thank you in advance, Wes
