I am looking at buying a beam shortly to put up vertical on my 70 ft tower so I can talk to some of my friends who live about 65 miles from me.I'm on a budget so I been looking at a sirio sy 27-4 4 element beam from h & y electronics for $150 plus shipping.Does any body have this antenna up and on the air and if so how well does it perform.

says it horizontal polarized might not work to well turned vertical
unless it says it can

I was wondering that to 555 thats why i wanted to get some opinions on this antenna.Like I said i'm on a budget so I don't want to waste money on a antenna that barely gets out.I know it says on the sirio antenna site that it's horizontaly polarized but if you look at the information on ebay it says polarization horizontal or vertical.

Hello gentlemen and Ladies. I have the dreaded RCI-2990 receive issue where my radio gets distorted when people get close to my location. I found the C90 Capacitor, but I can not for the life of me find the C89 capacitor. Can or does anyone have a picture of the exact location of C89 ? Thank you in advance, Wes
