so i bought 2 rca co pilot 14t302 radios modded to 10 meter

any thoughts? both were done 30+ years ago and have never been used...I have had a modded uniden grant xl for over 25 years but it has seen its better days, but have talked all across the usa and into whales England france and so on...btw my first radio back in the 70s was a Royce 212

Btw royce 612..so any old-school guys remember Modding these radios? There's hardly any chatter on the radios these days I'm still trucking up and down the highway and can virtually go all night long And not here hardly anyone..we have local CB'ers here at home but a lot of them have moved on to getting their ham license...
