Software to expand Rx/Tx frequencies

I have a KG-UVD1P-E-V4 Wouxun Dual Bander and the
software I use to program it is the KG-UVDIP FCC 5K which
works perfectly. I tried to expand the frequency using the
Wouxun-Unlock.exe and the 1kg-xxx-unlock.exe posted back
in 6-16-2010 by our Mod Moleculo with no luck at all. Need
Help badly.
 

If you read through the thread, here's mention of a possible com port issue. It's an easy fix.
