There used to be a man in this area, went by Green Hornet (RIP). He was an outstanding radio tech, way back in the '70 to '90s, that I knew of, he was older than me. I came across this piece that he built with a friend of his, that was into metal fabrication and did the wood work on this piece. Green Hornet built this power supply from scratch, put meters in the box, and put a TNT modulator in it. I am in the process of checking it all out now and hopefully get it working, seeing it has been in an attic for about 30 years. A classic piece of history, here.

Sorry I don't see the point. It looks cheaply built and nothing but a radio in

Grandma says, " If you ain't got nothing good to say, then don't say nothing at all
I know it is nothing special, but ok for some country boys 25- 30 years ago. So sorry it's not good enough for your approval.

And my departed Father used to tell me that if nobody ever critiqued anything, the marketplace would be full of poorly designed and shoddily made goods. Criticism, especially constructive criticism, is part of the path to better quality goods....
Just my 2 cents worth.....

That's fine too. I didn't build it. I personally thought the whole box thing was comical. I would never put all that in a box, especially with no fan. I like my components where I can see them.
